Info Security (IS) Risk Analyst
· Manage the daily operation and effectiveness of security-related programs, initiatives, and assess vulnerabilities identifying risks and methods to eliminate, minimize, or mitigate threats.
· Conduct risk analysis and risk assessments of information assets.
· Work with internal and external auditors to monitor status of ongoing reviews.
· Provide input to the development and communications of information security policies and procedures.
· Ensure integrity of security procedures, systems, and policies working closely with server, network operations, and applications development teams.
· Monitor and assesses security violations incidents and responses.
· Recommend necessary changes to enhance information systems security weighing business needs against security concerns.
· Monitor application of IT audit objectives and approaches in compliance with auditing standards and requirements.
· Participate in the development, implementation and enforcement of organization wide security standards, policies and procedures.
· Assist in the development of security awareness programs
Job Requirements:
· BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent knowledge acquired by work experience and training
· Three (3) or more years of related IT experience in Information Security and Risk Management; and Information Security Policy creation preferred
· Basic Understanding of client functions and applications
· Working Knowledge of security issues, techniques and implications across all existing computer platforms
· Demonstrated consultative and communication skills, analytical ability, decisiveness, judgment, and the ability to work effectively with client and IT management, staff and vendors
