Position: Manager, Accounts Payable and Procurement Operations
Job Summary:
- Leads and set the strategic direction of the Accounts Payable and Procurement Operations capability development & process improvement programs to continuously improve performance, policies, procedures and processes.

Assesses current department procedures and proposes/implements changes to strengthen internal controls, enhances efficiency and maximizes the usage of the Purchasing & Payables systems and tools. Considers impact of procedural changes on the Enterprise

Develops key performance metrics for the organization to measure performance of the organization and programs.

Manage and implement Dynamic Discounting and Virtual and Purchasing Card program and develop reports to measure success of the programs.

Identifies and escalates non-compliant activity to the appropriate management as published in the company and departmental policy/procedures.

Set and maintains the Procurement Performance Metrics and implements solutions to improve performance.

Builds and manages staff to provide optimum efficiency across all A/P and procurement functions in support of internal customers and strategic procurement.

Motivates and provides overall guidance and direction to operational staff to allow for optimum contribution by each member.

Develop processes, training and presentations in support of internal projects and corporate initiatives.

Maintain and review the Employee Expense Reimbursement Process.

Oversees the development, maintenance, updating and continuous improvement of company policies and procedures for sourcing and procurement.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in A/P and/or Purchasing

Six (6) to eight (8) years of A/P Procurement experience in the health insurance industry or related industries (financial services, managed care, health care, health products) preferred

Experienced with standard procurement concepts, practices and procedures.

Experience in implementing and managing a corporate card program.

Experienced managing change in a complex environment
