  • Specific Duties

     

    • Maintains Accounts Payable policies and controls, fiscal controls and safeguarding the organization’s assets

    • Maintains Accounts Payable records and reports, including regulatory and management reports

    • Prepares, records, verifies, analyzes and reports Accounts Payable transactions

    • Pays vendor/claim invoices in a timely manner

    • Maintains and reconciles Accounts Payable reports

    • Ensures that transaction entry verification procedures are followed

    • Issuance and processing of outstanding check letters in a timely manner

    • Processing of voids and reissues on an as needed basis

    • Responsible for daily customer inquiries via phone, email, etc. both internally and externally

    • Assists with researching address issues that prevent checks and 1099s from being received.

    • Assists with researching outstanding balances being reported and providing analysis for resolution.

    • Researches discrepancies when processing reissues to ensure that there are no impacts to g/l and balance sheet.

    • Assists in less complex departmental projects and all other duties assigned by management

    • Works with either close supervision or under clearly defined procedures

    • Other duties assigned by management

  • Knowledge Summary

     

    • Working use of Microsoft Office

    • Strong attention to detail skills

       

  • Education & Experience

     

    • Requires HS Diploma, or its equivalent with 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
