Executive Reporting Analyst
- Support the Annual Operating Plan / Multi-year Strategy / Reforecast Process
- Support Annual Planning, Multi-year Strategy, and Reforecast process by owning and maintaining the P&L model and presentations
- Understand and communicate key drivers and risks/opportunities
- Drive process improvements to the Plan/Forecast process
- Prepare insightful exhibits and presentations communicating key drivers and effectively telling the story behind the numbers
- Work with 10+ business partners across the organization to consolidate Plan/Forecast P&L
- Support the Executive Reporting Calendar
- Support and adhere to Executive Reporting Calendar; deliverables include AOP, Forecast, internal leader briefings, Board of Directors materials, and materials for external audiences (S&P, Banks, Insurance Departments, BCBSA, etc)
- Other Responsibilities include
- Assisting in the development of and maintenance/reporting of metrics for Annual Performance Bonus and Long Term Incentive Plans
- Delivering monthly scorecard package to senior leadership
- Supporting Finance Leadership on ad-hoc requests and other special projects
- Provide analytical and decision support to business partners; be business’s trusted advisor and support them in attaining their business and financial results
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Management (or equivalent work experience).
- More than 2 years’ experience preparing and analyzing budgets is desirable.
- Demonstrated strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) as well as PeopleSoft & Hyperion software is required.
- Strong financial modeling skills required
- Ability to work collaboratively with Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis and Business partners to establish plan goals and deadlines. Effectively communicates, influences, and engages all levels of the organization.
- Strong communication (both written and verbal) and strong presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with department management and the ability to work in an independent environment is essential.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented, as well as above average problem solving/analytical skills required.
- Understanding of budget/forecast principles and performance management activities
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work, and is comfortable, in ambiguous situations
- The ability to manage projects and customer expectations to a successful conclusion is essential.
