Summary:
The Project Lead is the client liaison between the marketing and creative teams. Responsible for managing projects and the project flow from kick-off to completion through careful planning, organization and evaluation of deliverables. Tracks project timeline and budget, communicating clear deadlines and providing proposed reprioritization based on due dates. Anticipates key milestones and project dependencies/downstream implications to ensure success. This individual must understand the marketing and client strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
· Serves as primary contact and point of coordination between marketing and creative teams and any third parties involved to manage projects (i.e, print and digital project production) from kickoff through delivery. Understands marketing and client strategic objectives.
· Understands overall audience-specific marketing plans and goals and proactively plan for projects according to marketing plan
· Works with Marketing to create creative brief and understand messaging strategy, creative direction
· Responsible for project scoping, planning, financial management, invoicing and forecast monitoring
· Tracks project timeline and budget, communicating clear deadlines and providing proposed reprioritization based on due dates
· Anticipates key milestones and project dependencies/downstream implications to ensure success
· Proactively reports on project status, track and propose mitigation plan for project risks/issues.
· Identifies opportunities for service improvement and uncovers potential risks with quality for escalation
· Creates and manages all project contracts and gain approvals
· Responsible for escalating issues/risks associates with project pipeline, capacity and/or scope creep
· Provides creative and requirement recommendations for projects based on need
· Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications related field or equivalent work experience
· Minimum 5 years applicable work experience to include a minimum 3 years project management experience
· Strong project management skills with proven experience in delivery of creative content production services
· Strong client relationship management skills
· Ability to critically assess a project or process to identify improvement opportunities
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate project requirements, communicate project status, and interface with internal and external team members
· Understanding of the creative production processes
· Ability to identify innovative ways to implement projects with established timeframes
· Strong organizational and issue resolution skills
· Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration with the ability to accomplish results as an active team member as well as on an individual basis
· High level of attention to detail and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
· Ability to work in a process and deadline driven environment
