Drives the development of marketing strategy and communications plans to support product and capability launches and promotions, as well as corporate projects and the needs of the commercial P&Ls.

Drives the development of the annual Independence storyline, using feedback on emerging client and member trends and needs.

Ensures all projects align with the overall corporate strategy/story and are delivered on schedule.

Provides counsel to sales and marketing leaders and teams on strategic marketing and communications planning and execution of deliverables in support of business and financial goals.

Demonstrates deep understanding of customer and business needs and continually identifies and explores new ideas and opportunities.

Typically supports leadership directly and/or has broad responsibility that spans multiple functional areas.

Drives the development and execution of marketing strategies and communications plans to effectively promote new and existing products and services.

Provides strategic direction to creative teams through marketing briefs

Drives the development of effective messaging to be used in sales and member tools and materials, such as presentations, fact sheets, demo videos, proposal content, news, websites, etc. working collaboratively with Marketing and Creative teams

Provides counsel to marketing and sales leaders to advise on externally facing market message and materials.

Leads efforts working collaboratively with project teams and business leads to ensure brand and message consistency, and coordinated market launches.

Master's Degree preferred. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, Advertising or equivalent work experience

8+ years of marketing, communications, or related experience.

Deep knowledge of communication principles, practices and techniques as well as insurance industry.

Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence all levels of the organization.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to educate and influence cross functional business partners.

Comfortable and experienced in presenting content to both internal and external audiences.

Interacts comfortably with IBX leadership.

Ability to think strategically and act tactically.

Strong organizational and conflict resolution skills.
