· Responsible to develop an annual aggressive sales growth plan to support achievement of the Field Sales Rep (FSR) sales goal.
· Successfully execute sales initiatives and meet sales goals within assigned territory
· Responsible for sourcing and identifying new business opportunities and continually grow relationship in assigned geographic territory.
· Identifies, schedules and conducts Medicare Sales Seminars and Medicare Basics meetings for Medicare beneficiaries with the objective of securing applicants for Medicare products.
· Identifies schedules and conducts presentations at senior venues including church groups, senior centers, and senior clubs and personal care homes. Generates leads by securing referrals and identifies sales outlets for territory development
· Responsible for community development within territory to include senior organizations and individual lead generation opportunities. Attend all pertinent community events, senior centers, health fairs and other functions as seen to benefit the organization and grow our client base.
· Conduct home visits when requested and scheduled by Telemarketing reps.
· Completes all daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity reports.
· Responsible for making initial contact with prospective clients and managing customer relationship. Regularly schedule face-to-face client meetings based upon referrals to grow new business opportunities
· Responds daily to inquiries from members and prospects regarding Medicare and its complexities.
· Maintains an excellent understanding of CMS compliance requirements to assure that all sales activities are CMS compliant.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of two years sales experience working with Medicare Beneficiaries required.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication (both verbal and written) skills required.
- Possess strong presentation skills that support effective communication of large quantity of complex material.
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of Medicare Parts A & B, Medicare supplements, Medicare Advantage plans and Part D plans.
- Excellent relationship skill set with ability to build trust and confidence with clients that supports a high close ratio and drives a significant number of referrals.
- Strong organizational, presentation and facilitation skills
- Possess or acquire a Pennsylvania Health Insurer Producer License within 60 days of hire date.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation daily.
